Lisa and the kids picking strawberries. And let me tell ya…you can’t buy strawberries that taste anywhere near this good at the grocery store!
2010 SAPPHHTSJCW at Lay Lake, Birmingham, AL
Every year, for the past 5 years, me and a few of my best friends from college get together to do nothing but fish for 4 days. This was our second year meeting at Lay Lake, in Birmigham, AL. This was especially exciting since it was the host lake for the 2010 Bass Master Classic. Yes, I have a bit of an inner redneck that I’m not ashamed of! This year, the fishing was nothing short of amazing. Between myself, Steve, and Travis, we were easily boating 40+ fish a day! Travis landed a whopping 24 bass on our third day on the water! And, basking in the beautiful sun surrounded by God’s incredible display of majesty was almost overwhelming. This was by far my favorite bass fishing trip of all time. Here are just a few photos of the fish I caught. The last one is the trophy fish. Trophy for world’s smallest bass. And most ambitious bass of all time.
Max–3 Months Old
This is my beautiful baby boy, Max! He is almost 4 months old. It’s hard to believe he’s been with us that long already! It really is amazing how time flies when it comes to your kids. Max is the literally the happiest baby I have ever known in my life! He’s always smiling and laughing. And, he’s huge! He is about the size our other kids were at 6 months old. We have monster children, if you didn’t already know. These are a few images from the last couple of weeks of summer fun. Stay tuned for more Max!

Welcome to the New KurtDamron.com!
I’ve gone back to my roots. I’m now blogging for fun, again. I’m no longer doing it because I have to but because I want to! How liberating. Recently, I’ve had a readjustment of how I spend my time and where I focus my energy. You know…things change…life changes…you have a third kid…your goals change…the world changes…your world changes…you adapt…you press forward.
I plan on doing what I used to do…that is, share a small portion of my life with those who care about me. I hope you enjoy it!
The Newest McElvin!
I had the privilege of shooting Russ and Jenn’s maternity photos not so long ago, and now, the opportunity to follow up that shoot with a shoot of their new addition, baby Parker! We had a great time walking around Atlanta and taking photos wherever we felt like it stopping. It was great to be spontaneous and open to whatever we might come across. We had no plan whatsoever. It was great. Also, thanks to Dan for pushing me to do a shoot all available light. It was challenging, but a blast. Enjoy!
